An all-time favorite, easy to make, and feeds many!
Along with chicken, beef can be used in all kinds of different recipes, as it goes well with practically anything. Beef can be taken from any type of bovine, particularly cows. It’s also a meat that pretty much everyone can enjoy in the right recipe, making it the perfect meat to select when thinking of something to make for a dinner party or a holiday celebration. One of the most delicious beef recipes available was derived from an old 19th century recipe in Russia and is known as beef stroganoff.

The most popular variation of the dish utilizes a delectable combination of noodles, beef, mushrooms and a rich sauce to really bring out the flavor.
This beef stroganoff recipe is one that utilizes most of the classic ingredients of the dish. Beef chuck roast is the main component, while mushrooms and green onions add variety to the flavors found in the dish. A bit of salt and black pepper is used for seasoning, along with mustard and white wine. To keep the sauce from becoming too runny, a substantial amount of sour cream is added to the beef broth in order to arrive at a heavier consistency. You want the noodles to remain as the base for the beef stroganoff, which is accomplished by keeping the sauce from draining to the base of the noodles. All of these flavors complement each other to bring about a dish that practically anyone will love.

  • Fry the onion until golden brown, using the same oil in which the beef was fried
  • Add flour and sauté everything together for a minute
  • Add a glass of water to the mixture, stir constantly until the mixture thickens.
  • Add sour cream, paprika, tomato paste, salt, pepper and mix well
