Ingredients

  • 300 g (11 oz) of chopped red cabbage

  • 3-4 shallots, cut into rings

  • 150 g (5.3 oz) chopped bacon

  • 70 g (2.5 oz) feta cheese, diced

  • 50 g (1.8 oz) chopped walnuts

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Directions

  • Fry garlic and bacon in olive oil until golden brown.
  • In a large bowl, combine shallots, red cabbage and balsamic vinegar.
  • Add the fried bacon and garlic to the bowl.
  • Toast the walnuts for 2-3 minutes in a dry frying pan for more flavor.
  • At the very end, sprinkle the salad with Feta cheese and walnuts.
