Hello, food lovers. I’m back with another easy and delicious recipe for you to surprise your family. As you all know, I love to create dishes that are not only delicious but also healthy for my family.
And the one recipe that never fails to impress is my Easy Orange & Ginger Chicken.

What makes this dish so special? It’s the beautiful combination of tangy orange and zingy ginger that creates a delightful sour-sweet symphony in your mouth.
Paired with some fluffy rice, it’s an absolute treat! And here’s a little tip from my kitchen to yours – let the chicken marinate overnight. Trust me, the flavors meld together and elevate the dish to a whole new level.
The flavors in this dish are simply exceptional – the sweetness of the orange perfectly balances the spiciness of the ginger that creates a symphony of tastes that dances in your mouth.
The marination technique of this recipe is the key to creating a treat that your loved ones will never forget, in a positive way of course.
While with most recipes, you can marinate for just an hour (if you are in a rush you can marinate this one for 1 hour as well), I highly recommend you to give this one some extra time to marinate or you can just leave it to marinate overnight.
When you allow the chicken to marinate overnight, the flavorful mixture not only penetrates the meat but also allows the flavors to mix up very well, resulting in a more vibrant taste.
Let’s talk about health benefits. Oranges, bursting with vitamin C and antioxidants, are great for your immune system and skin health. And ginger, it’s nothing short of a superfood! Known to aid digestion, combat nausea, and even ward off colds and flu.
It also helps with digestion, soothes an upset tummy, and might even help with weight loss. With its special zing, ginger adds a tasty kick to the dish while giving your body some nourishment from the inside.
This dish was not made yesterday – Orange chicken has its roots in Hunan Providence China and then it was brought to Hawaii, America. It was created by a famous Chinese chef named Chef Andy Kho back in 1087.
This fusion dish brings together traditional Chinese cooking techniques with American influences, creating a dish that pleases both palates.
Over the years, it has become super popular and you can now find it in hundreds of Asian-inspired restaurants all across the United States.
When you’re making this dish, make sure to use fresh and high-quality ingredients. For instance, fresh oranges have a tanginess that’s very important for this recipe. So, go for the fresh stuff only!
Trust me, these small details make a massive difference in the end result. The vibrant colors and bold flavors will grab hold of your taste buds, leaving you wanting more.
So, whether you’re an experienced chef or just starting out in the kitchen, give this recipe a go. Let us know in the comments how it turns out! Good luck!
