Ingredients

  • 650 g (1.4 lbs) beef tenderloin, diced

  • Half a large white onion, diced

  • Half a red bell pepper, cut into small strips

  • 100 g (3.5 oz) green peppers, finely chopped

  • 5 skinless medium tomatoes, diced

  • 1-2 sticks of celery, diced

  • 1 cup of pasta sauce

  • 4 cloves of minced garlic

  • 3 tablespoons of chopped green onions

  • 250 g (8.9 oz) bow paste

  • 1 tsp dry basil

  • 1 tsp dried Provençal herbs

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt/pepper to taste

Directions

  • Fry green and red peppers, onions, garlic and celery in olive oil for about 7 minutes, stirring constantly, until the vegetables are soft. Remove vegetables from pan and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté beef with spices for about 5 minutes until browned.
  • Add tomato sauce and chopped tomatoes to the skillet with the beef. Cook the mixture for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Now return the sauteed vegetables to the pan and cook everything for another 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  • Boil the pasta according to the instructions on the package, drain the water. The add the pasta to the pan with the meat and vegetables. Don’t forget grated Parmesan, salt and pepper. Saute for about 1 minute to combine all the flavors.
  • At the very end, sprinkle the dish with green onions and serve!
