It is traditionally made with sliced chicken breasts that are stuffed with a mixture of herbs, prosciutto, cheese or spinach. You can use a variety of cheese for this one – Mozarella and Parmesan especially will give it an authentic Italian flavor. If you want to give this recipe a slightly different taste, you can go with Mexican-style spices or Asian sauces, which will give this recipe a unique spin.

Ingredients
1 cup mozzarella cheese
2 chicken breast
3 tbs butter
1 cup breadcrumbs
Oil
Dried garlic, red pepper, thyme, sal
Prosciutto ( 6-7 slices)
1/3 cup White wine
Basil leaves
2 eggs
3 tbs flour
Chicken broth
Directions
- Cut the chicken breasts into three slices, it is better to use frozen chicken breasts as they are easier to cut
- Wrap each slice in cling film and beat with a meat mallet
- Rub spices and salt into each piece of breast
- Remove cling film and top with prosciutto, mozzarella and basil leaves
- Roll it into a roll and secure with a toothpick, do this with each piece of breast.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg, then combine the flour and 1/2 cup water in another bowl
- Dip the chicken roll in the flour mixture, then in the breadcrumbs, then dip it in the egg and again in the breadcrumbs, do this with each roll
- Fry each roll in oil until golden brown, then put them in a mold, add wine and chicken broth and bake for 30 minutes in the oven at 200 degrees C° (400 F)
- Remove the rolls from the oven, sprinkle them with grated Parmesan and enjoy
