Diabetic Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars Recipe
There is never a bad time to have cookie bars, and your family will always find room for some. What’s not to love about the delectable taste of chocolate, especially when mixed with nuts and vanilla? Cookie bars are a lot of fun to make and eat, and chocolate chips make them even better. Baking cookie bars is a fun experience for the entire family to enjoy together.

Diabetics are always on the lookout for great-tasting recipes, and many people have someone in their life who’s a diabetic. The good news is that diabetics and their family members never need to sacrifice taste for healthy eating. When you bake chocolate chip cookie bars that are specifically made as a diabetic recipe, you’ll please the whole crowd on any occasion.
Chocolate chips in recipes date back to 1937, a fact that surprises many people. Chocolate chips are such a common feature in desserts that many assume they’ve always been in cookie recipes. Ruth Graves Wakefield at the Toll House Inn added some pieces of chocolate to some cookies she baked. These cookies became a quick success with a recipe still used today, and chocolate chunks became a staple in many other desserts. One thing you’ll enjoy about eating chocolate is the fact that it has many health benefits, from being antioxidant-rich to possibly lowering the risk of heart disease.
These delicious cookie bars make fun everyday snacks, as well as treats for special occasions. Kids that visit over the holidays will enjoy having these bars available. Nuts add a uniquely crunchy texture to these bars, as well as an extra punch of protein. This recipe also includes vanilla for a tastier flavor, uses real butter, and tastes just right for your sweet tooth.
